This is about 30 minutes from our house. Kind of a diner but better than that. We go every couple of weeks.
I get the "Dead Chicken Sandwich" a lot, my better half likes the fish. This last time we got a burnt end dinner with pickled beets and mashed potatoes. The pics are from last week, a Reuben. Yum! And fish. I just forgot to post them.
I have yet to have anything that is not good.
The waitress was very rude and acted like it was a real problem to serve us...
We had the 14oz ribeye by far the best steak I have ever eaten...whoever cooks the steak dude needs a raise...
Had the liver appetizer and was disappointed for the $9 price I had 6 small pieces of liver...but it was excellent liver is cheap come on give more for that price...
The salad was bland and the toast was terrible...mashed potatoes and gravy were great but to portion wasn't even child size...
I found I all a bit pricey the only thing that saved my meal was a perfect steak...
Wow haven't been here in a while since they moved to their new location. Can good food even become better? sure seems like it everything seemed almost perfect. The brisket and the ribs twice as good as I remember them.I recommend don't miss this if you're in Sedalia. It was so good I even forgot to take pictures.
Food was amazing as always..they were very busy and we had to wait a little for the food..they had several large parties before us, so that slowed them down, but so worth the wait..
Food was good! My steak was perfect! They have coke and cheesecake will definitely be back again!
Service is always great and so is the food. I don't know how they make such a wonderful cheesecake. Fluffy and light and so good. Thank you
The food is good and served promptly by the friendly wait staff. Loud with some echoes. So not a place for a quiet meal. A little on the pricey side. Fried green tomatoes are really good as is the grilled reuben and the Texas onion soup. The butterscotch pie was pretty good, but I didn't care for the mountain of meringue.
Chicken Livers were over cooked very crunchy. Liver was cooked away to nothing, unless you had a larger piece then it had some liver to it. Salad, baked potato and toast was good.
